FAA testing in bulls.
A novel method to test for FAA (Fertility-Associated Antigen) in sperm
membranes of individual bulls. A chute-side test based on a novel lateral
flow device will be commercialized and marketed to veterinarians and
ranchers in 2004.
Testing Bovine IgG in Goat and Sheep's' Milk.
Detection of cow's milk in goat and sheep's' milk by a lateral flow
immunoassay device. A cassette format provides a simple, disposable test for
biosecurity. The test requires minimal sample preparation, laboratory
equipment, expertise to operate, storage requirements, and may be performed
as a field test.
