Polyclonal Antisera: Goat Host (Catalog suffix -01)
All antisera are produced in goats unless otherwise designated. The serum is polyclonal, delipidated and monospecific by immunoelectrophoresis when tested against pooled human plasma and 2X concentrated human serum.
Suitable for use in most immunoassay systems, antisera is defibrinated plasma with lipids removed. It is a stable liquid solution that is clear with a slightly amber coloring. We also offer custom antisera production in Goats.
Pricing is based on volume ordered. We are a bulk manufacturer, so we sell in quantities greater than 100 mL.
IgG Fractions (Catalog suffix -03 or -05)
These products are suitable for applications requiring low background interference or when only goat IgG is required. Processed by either ion exchange chromatography (-05) or sodium sulfate precipitation (-03), extraneous goat serum proteins are eliminated as demonstrated by a single band in the gamma region on serum electrophoresis.
Affinity Purified Antibodies (Catalog suffix -07)
Suitable for applications requiring pure antibody, such as enzyme conjugation. Antibodies are separated from antisera by affinity chromatography.
Calibrators
Suitable for various testing methods such as TIA, RRID, Becker etc. Calibrators are concentrated from human or animal serum and provided in a liquid form. MBC has designed each analyte with specific protein concentrations, and can also manufacture on a custom basis.
