Whole Blood Calf IgG Midland Quick Test Kit®

Whole Blood Calf IgG Midland Quick Test Kit

A Simple and Fast Method for Identifying IgG Levels in the Newborn Calf

Midland BioProducts Corporation® is introducing the Whole Blood Calf IgG Midland Quick Test Kit®.

Using a syringe or EDTA collection tube (purple top tube), a 200 µL sample of whole blood is drawn from the calf's jugular vein. A 200microliter (0.2mL) measured sample is mixed with the provided dilution liquid. Completely fill the cassette sample well (marked S) with the mixed, diluted whole blood sample. In approximately 20 minutes, the appearance of a horizontal line in the Control (C) position tells you the test is working. A line appearing in the Test (T) position will indicate if the level of IgG in the sample is below 10 mg/ml. The absence of a line in the “T” position indicates the level of IgG in the blood is greater than 10 mg/ml. Click here for References
