developing new immunoassays. Typically, a confidentiality agreement is signed and using customer-supplied
reagents, MBC performs feasibility development. This service allows the customer to quickly learn whether
or not a new immunoassay or concept will work. If feasibility development is favorable, MBC will provide
the customer with prototype tests. Additional tests are then purchased on a per test basis. MBC has developed
protein and DNA based assays for applications such as bioterrorism, food safety, fertility, and pregnancy.
