INTRODUCTION

The MBC QT II™ is a completely portable laboratory instrument capable of rapid, quantitative measurements of a number of assays. It is about the size and weight of a one-liter bottle of water, yet rugged enough for the most demanding field conditions. With the use of the MBC QT II™, we can offer high quality assays of interest to the veterinarian. Results can be obtained and decisions made on the spot, eliminating costly delays.

The MBC QT II™ features an exclusive Auto-ID recognition capability that automatically recognizes the test and calibration data, ensuring accurate, reproducible results. All methods are pre-programmed and may be updated via upload from the Midland BioProducts Corporation® web site (www.midlandbio.com).

Within run precision values are established by assaying control samples with a Roche Cobas-Mira™ chemistry analyzer and the coefficients of variance are typically less than 5%.

Accuracy

Using a Roche Cobas-Mira™ chemistry analyzer, overall accuracy comparisons are within 5% of the reference method.
